Why a Google Sheet

All the planning, none of the subscription

Budgeting apps charge every month and ask for your bank login. Building your own sheet takes weekends. Personal Finance Planner sits in between.

Does it connect to my bank?

No. You type or paste your transactions, which takes a few minutes a week. Your bank login never leaves your hands.

Do I need to know formulas?

No. You fill in Setup and Transactions. Every other tab is calculated for you.

What do I need to use it?

A free Google account. It works in any browser and in the Google Sheets app on your phone.

Does it work in my country and currency?

Yes. You set your currency symbol in Setup, so it works anywhere.

Can I use it with my partner?

Yes. Share your copy with Google's Share button and you can both add transactions.

How is it different from Business Manager?

Personal Finance Planner is for your personal and household money: budget, bills, debts and net worth. Business Manager is for running a business: invoices, cash flow, profit & loss and tax reserve.
